So much has changed as this summer has passed. My baby girl has become a little girl full of giggles and singing along with all the popular songs. This birthday brought a new bike, a Taylor Swift CD, tons of trendy clothes and of course one really awesome hot pink and orange tutu fit for any sassy ballerina!

I have been waiting quite some time to give photographing this beauty a try. My best friends daughter and a stunning little lady. Her daddy has very high expectations as he is a photographer himself. So it was quite an honor when he was blown away by what we got last weekend! Jordyn you are very loved and have lost of people ready with great big sticks as you grow up and the boys start knocking on the door!!!

The beauty of East Texas...Tara Winery

I have been waiting all summer for the vineyards at Tara to be green and lush with grapes. That hot summer day finally arrived. What an amazingly beautiful setting it is. The majestic old home has held many memories for those I love during its days on East Tyler Street. It has since been moved out to Tara, been renovated beautifully and become the Tara Inn. It's a taste of the old south right here in Athens. Be sure and check them out for weekend activities with live music, food, amazing wine and more!!!

Summertime

I can't imagine a better time for awesome pictures than summertime. I am weirdly drawn to swimming photos. I think because there are no staged faces when people are swimming. It is just shear enjoyment. Be it the lake or the pool the picture possibilities are just amazing...
